
Go Negosyo @ 10: Building a Country of Enterprising Filipinos
Go Negosyo celebrated its 10th anniversary with a dinner program for its community of entrepreneurs, advocates and partners last July 28, 2015 in The Eye, Green Sun Makati.
Since 2005, Go Negosyo has been advocating for a change in mindset among Filipinos towards a positive and enterprising attitude and for competency building among Filipinos as the real solution to poverty. Go Negosyo continues to be a catalyst in grassroot economic upliftment. . It has been a decade of pursuing with passion the building of a more optimistic and entrepreneurial culture among Filipinos.
In a short program, Go Negosyo recognized dynamic legislative leaders like Sen. Bam Aquino, Sen. Sonny Angara, Sen. Grace Poe, and Sen. Cynthia Villar for their respective efforts in empowering Filipino entrepreneurs.
Go Negosyo also recognized entrepreneur enablers, educators, and icon entrepreneurs who have become inspiration and mentors to many and who have programs that help, micro, small, and medium enterprises through its Mentor Me Award.
Apart from the recognitions, Go Negosyo launched its 10th book entitled: Go Negosyo: Joey Concepcion’s 50 Inspiring Entrepreneurial Stories (Special 10th Year Anniversary Edition. Go Negosyo also added a number of new champion entrepreneurs who have been making waves in the business industry in the past decade. The foreword was written by entrepreneur icon John Gokongwei Jr., and entrepreneurial lessons from the “Entrep Guru” and angelpreneur Andy Ferreria.
Mr. Joey Concepcion and Go Negosyo promised that it will continue with its mission to help move this country forward in becoming an entrepreneurial nation!

Sen. Bam Aquino was one of the legislators recognized for their efforts to help entrepreneurs. Sen. Aquino was once Go Negosyo’s TV host.

Go Negosyo’s founding trustee, Joey Concepcion, thanked all who have been part of the advocacy throughout the 10 years.

More than 750 entrepreneurs, advocates, government partners, enablers and partners joined Go Negosyo as it celebrated a decade of building a country of enterprising Filipinos.
